Thankfuls

Yesterday morning we had our 20 week anatomical scan....hopefully the only ultrasound of the pregnancy. The appointment left me with so many things to be thankful for....

-a healthy baby who kept yawning adorably
-the cochlear implants that allowed Gianna to experience the joy of hearing the thudding of the baby's hearbeat
-for being half-way to meeting this little guy face-to-face
-our slowly growing family; it's so fun to celebrate this new life with the older kids
-a wonderful back-up OB

When I was pregnant with Gianna we chose to find out the sex at the ultrasound, but with Dominic we decided to wait. It was so fun saving the surprise for the end that we decided to wait this time around as well. Brad claims he saw a penis. Time shall tell, but since he's got a 50/50 shot at being right he claims utter confidence in his diagnosis. Of course now Gianna is walking around informing everyone and anyone that "Daddy thinks he saw a penis!" Perrrrfect. And now, for the goods
